There is nothing worse than reporting to a gasbag who regurgitates cliches and buzzwords while pretending to be fighting the good fight for his/her team. And the fake concern? Kill me.
And what makes this unbearable is when you add dashboards to the mix. When someone is pretending his numbers actually mean something when really it's just a bunch of random data he got one of his helper monkeys to throw together to dazzle upper management with charts and graphs that indicate progress where there isn't any.
It's a career we never get back.
